Sarah Elhiani – “Al Ahavatecha”

“About Your Love” is the debut album of oud singer and player Sarah Elhiani. This original creation
boasts a rich acoustic sound, revealing a plethora of her musical influences. The album consists of
Hebrew liturgical poems and faith songs, seamlessly blending Arabic, Eastern, and Mediterranean
music with French and African-American genres such as blues, jazz, North-African, and Ethiopian
sounds.

Featured on the album alongside Elhiani are musicians such as Daniel Zamir on soprano saxophone;
Omri Mor on the piano (who also performs with jazz artist Avishai Cohen); Avtah Brihon, the
Ethiopian saxophonist (who also provides vocals); Erez Monk on Near and Far Eastern percussion;
Elad Gabai on the qanun; Elad Levi with the Andalusian violin; Gilad Hazan on the oud; Haggai
Billitzky on double bass; Yair Dalal on the violin; and Yitzhak Ventura on ney.

Elhiani, who composed all of the album’s songs, sings in Hebrew, Arabic, and French. The
arrangements and musical production are credited to Yair Dalal.
